Your Role in Our Story:

In essence, your role involves:

  • Azure Management: Administer and optimize Microsoft Azure infrastructure, including virtual machines, storage, networking, and AAD for secure access control.
  • O365 Administration: Manage Office 365 services, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and OneDrive, ensuring seamless collaboration and productivity.
  • System Maintenance: Oversee Windows (on-premises and Azure-hosted) to ensure high availability for trading platforms and business applications.
  • Security & Compliance: Implement and maintain security measures including MS Defender, endpoint protection, and adherence to industry standards (e.g., ISO 27001).
  • End User Support: Provide technical support to trading desks, resolving user access, application, and connectivity issues.
  • Backup & Recovery: Manage backup and recovery solutions for ACT’s platforms to ensure business continuity.
  • Automation: Develop scripts (PowerShell, Azure CLI) to automate administrative tasks for efficiency.
  • Monitoring & Performance: Use Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and other tools to monitor system health and optimize performance.
  • Vendor Coordination: Collaborate with Microsoft and other vendors for support, licensing, and service agreements.

Your Expertise: 

To be successful in this role, we are looking for candidates with the following qualifications and attributes: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Experience: 5+ years in IT system administration with Microsoft Azure and O365, ideally in financial services.
  • Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for automation.
  • Knowledge of Azure services and O365 administration.
  • Understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
  • Experience with change implementation, issue resolution, and best practice documentation.
  • Familiarity with tools like JIRA and Confluence.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management.
  • Business-oriented mindset and problem-solving approach.
