Your Role in Our Story:

In essence, your role involves:

  • Serve as part of the global IT support team, providing technical assistance to various departments of ACT and acting as the primary contact (“go-to” person) for day-to-day IT infrastructure and application-related issues.
  • Provide comprehensive desktop and laptop support, including setup, troubleshooting, and maintenance of Microsoft 365 applications.
  • Manage user accounts and permissions through Active Directory and Azure AD, including the use of PowerShell scripting for automation and administrative tasks.
  • Assist with regular system backups, updates, and routine maintenance activities to ensure smooth IT operations.
  • Support the implementation of IT security policies and contribute to enforcing cybersecurity best practices.
  • Maintain up-to-date IT documentation, asset inventories, and incident/support records.
  • Perform basic troubleshooting of network and infrastructure-related issues to ensure continuity of daily production operations.

Your Expertise: 

To be successful in this role, we are looking for candidates with the following qualifications and attributes: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of experience in IT Support role preferably in financial services industry.
  • Strong understanding of Windows environments along with AZURE and O365.
  • Knowledge of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN).
  • Experience with ticketing systems (e.g., Jira, ServiceNow, Zendesk).
  • Understanding of cybersecurity principles and safe computing practices.
  • Self-motivated with strong stakeholder communications skills with a result-oriented approach to solving problems.
  • Business-oriented mindset with a dedication to going above and beyond.
  • ITIL (good to have).
  • AZ-900, SC-900, MS-900 preferred.
