As a Sustainability Specialist, you will play a key role in strengthening ACT’s position as a trusted partner in sustainability. You will bridge market intelligence, regulatory updates, and client needs, turning complex insights into clear strategies that support our sales teams, product development, and thought leadership across EMEA. In essence, your role involves:
Conduct market, industry, and client-level research to identify sustainability trends and opportunities.
Track and interpret EU regulatory updates such as EU ETS and CBAM.
Collaborate with Corporate Sales, Financial Solutions, and Marketing to craft impactful storylines and client pitches.
Support client meetings with data-driven sustainability insights and recommendations.
Contribute to ACT’s marketing initiatives and thought leadership through reports, events, and campaigns.
Provide research-driven input for product development and long-term strategy.
Represent ACT externally at conferences, panels, and industry events.
Build internal sustainability knowledge through briefings, newsletters, and training.
We’re looking for someone who thrives on combining sharp analysis with strong communication, and who can bring commercial and sustainability perspectives together. To be successful in this role, we are looking for candidates with the following qualifications and attributes:
A bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business, Finance, Sustainability, or a related field (Master’s degree is a plus).
4–5 years of experience in sustainability, consulting, strategy, or market intelligence.
Strong research and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret both qualitative and quantitative data.
Excellent communication, presentation, and client engagement abilities.
Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and ideally Power BI, SQL, or Python.
